Ensuring smooth patient visits, the full-time remote Insurance Verification Representative will verify insurance information, obtain authorizations for HMO patients, and respond to customer inquiries regarding insurance coverage and claims processing. Key responsibilities Contact insurance companies and patients to verify insurance information and obtain necessary authorizations Verify claims are mailed to the correct address and communicate with relevant parties to facilitate authorizations or referrals Respond to customer inquiries about insurance coverage and claims processing while adhering to university policies Required qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent relevant experience Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required Ability to learn new procedures and adapt to changing priorities Proficiency in using office software and relevant computer applications Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with colleagues and stakeholders
