General Manager

Responsibilities You will have a high level of accountability for all retail store functions and for communicating and implementing the company vision through directing the day-to-day activities of the entire store staff. You will drive high‑performance results within a fast‑paced sales environment, optimize customer and employee experience, mentor your Assistant General Manager, complete trainings, attend weekly sales leadership calls, and motivate your team at every guest interaction. Brand advocate for Victra. Providing ongoing sales training and support to exceed sales, retention, quality, and service objectives. Engaging in sales strategy development to ensure our products and services are showcased throughout the store. Ensuring store employees meet and/or exceed defined monthly success measurements and complete assigned training on time and in full. Developing and implementing sales tools and initiatives. Maintaining store performance by running retail inventory compliance. Engaging in business operations including budgeting, forecasting, analyzing and providing sales reports. Thinking of innovative ways to drive traffic in stores and capitalize on existing customer base. Owning store success and taking ownership of store employees’ work‑related needs, leadership, staffing and scheduling, maintaining labor controls, marketing, loss prevention and other store functions. Owning all guest escalations and providing timely resolution. Clearly communicating company objectives and priorities to team members and providing timely follow‑up. Staying up‑to‑date with new sales promotions and ensuring guests receive a complete solution to meet their needs. Compensation Base rate of $21.00 per hour with uncapped earning potential through commission. Qualifications You thrive in a sales environment and enjoy sharing this energy with a team that you can develop and motivate. You set a high bar for achieving goals and know how to motivate others to help you get there. 1–3 years of experience in a retail sales environment, 2 years in a leadership/supervisory role. Management experience in a commissions‑based sales environment. Proven track record of achieving challenging team and individual sales goals. Balanced multiple opposing priorities in a multifaceted environment. Set goals, evaluated performance, and developed a high‑performing team. Basic interview skills and enhanced staffing knowledge. High school diploma or GED. One or more years of customer service, preferably in a retail or sales environment. Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, November through December, and/or during peak vacation periods. At least 18 years of age. Legally authorized to work in the United States. Physical Requirements Ability to lift ten pounds. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Training Requirements All General Managers must attend and successfully complete a 4‑day New Hire University (NHU) training program within 30 days of their official start date, and a 3‑day General Manager University (SMU) training program within 30 days of completing NHU. Various online and computer‑based training will also be required throughout employment.
