INGU is a Calgary/Houston based pipeline inspection company. INGU's Pipers inline inspection solution provides full visibility across all pipeline assets, improving planning, decision-making, and overall operational control. Our patented solution pairs a baseball-sized, free-floating multi-sensor device with artificial intelligence powered data analytics.

Pipers are designed for use in any pipeline configuration and can be deployed under operational conditions, ensuring continuance of service and the ability to act where and when needed. In a single inspection, Pipers can provide information on leaks and air pockets, deposits, and wall condition.

What We're Looking For

INGU is currently seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our team in Houston. This Representative will keep our commercial engine running day to day. You prepare and issue quotations, you keep our CRM accurate for in-time follow up reminders and forecasts, and you carry every inquiry through to an issued PO. You work alongside our sales and marketing team and our (international) partners.

We are a small team, so this is a hands-on role with real ownership. A quotation that goes out the same day, a CRM that is always up to date, and a customer who is never left waiting are the three things that make the difference.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quotations from our standard pricing structure and quotation templates
• Confirm pipeline details such as diameter, length, product, and flow rate with the customer to ensure feasibility before quoting
• Track every lead from start to a decision, following up, logging outcomes, recording why a client moves forward or goes a different route, and verifying and processing purchase orders upon receipt
• Keep our CRM as the single source of truth, creating and updating leads, contacts, accounts, and deals, and keeping stages, closing dates, and next actions current
• Handle inbound inquiries from the website, conferences, and (international) partners, qualifying them, routing them, and responding quickly
• Track partner inquiries and direct inquiries routed through partners, continue following up, and ensure the most current status and timelines are known and logged in our CRM

What You Bring To The Table

• Post-secondary education in business or a technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience
• Two or more years in inside sales, sales support, an order desk, or contract administration is preferred
• Experience in the Oil & Gas and/or Municipal Water market is preferred
• Comfort with numbers and a high level of accuracy, with the discipline to get a quotation right the first time
• Strong organizational skills and follow-up discipline, so that nothing is missed or delayed
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with, or willingness to learn, our CRM system (Zoho)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, in particular Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Genuine curiosity about how pipelines are operated, inspected, and maintained. No engineering background required
