A Day in the Life:

You’ll start the day by welcoming members and ensuring they receive prompt, accurate service. Whether you’re working as a Teller or a Member Service Representative, you’ll create a positive experience and identify opportunities to connect members with products and services that can better meet their needs.

Throughout the day, you’ll:

• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, payments, statement research, signature verification, and other share and certificate account transactions.
• Open new share, certificate, and IRA accounts in accordance with current policies and procedures.
• Assist members with checking services, including NSF issues, draft orders, copy requests, account status verification, funds availability, certified checks, and stop payments.
• Respond to member questions ranging from basic to complex, including inquiries about insurance, interest rates, service charges, and account histories.
• Protect member privacy and ensure all transactions and conversations comply with applicable disclosures, regulations, and consumer privacy policies.
• Actively identify and refer members to appropriate credit union products, services, or departments based on their needs.
• Step in as Backup Head Teller when needed, supporting smooth daily branch operations.

Requirements:

Education:

• High School graduate or equivalent, some college preferred.
• Must pass the Sr. Member Service Representative Assessment.

Experience:

• Previous experience as Member Service Representative and Teller is required.
• Excellent knowledge of credit union products and services.

**Must be able to pass a backgroud/credit check and drug screen.
