Job Opportunity

Night shift, consisting of three 12-hour shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must possess a permanent Ohio license or current compact state license.
• Valid certifications: American Red Cross BLS & ACLS required.
• Completion of NIH certification prior to start date.
• A minimum of 12 months of combined permanent experience in the relevant specialty.
• Epic experience is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications

• One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty you are applying for.

Assessment Requirements

During orientation, candidates will need to complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate training, achieving acceptable scores in both assessments. Travelers will have a maximum of two attempts to pass these assessments; failure to do so may result in cancellation of the assignment.

Holiday Requirements

Travelers must be available to work at least every other holiday.

Additional Information

• Background checks may be conducted, and any hits will be reviewed by the facility.
• No open cases will be accepted.
• A negative 10-panel drug screen, including nicotine, is required within 12 months prior to the start date for travelers (outside of nurses and CSTs, who are exempt from nicotine-free requirements).
• All employees must complete BCI/FBI fingerprinting within 48 Hours of signing the contract.
• Travel candidates may extend their contracts for a maximum of 18 months, after which a 6-month break is required unless deferred by the client.

Ongoing Education Requirements

Travel candidates who are nurses and maintain a continuous contract for at least one year are required to complete annual hands-on competency assessments. Failure to complete this will result in removal from the schedule until compliance is achieved.

Modules

Four hours of pre-start training modules are billable; any additional time required is non-billable. The average time needed for module completion varies by specialty and ranges from 6-15 hours annually.
