Accounting ManagerWe are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager for our client in Scottsdale to lead key day-to-day accounting operations while helping to strengthen and improve the processes that support a growing organization. Working closely with the Assistant Controller and cross-functional leaders, you will help identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, strengthen internal controls, resolve issues, and support the organization's financial objectives. You will also play an important role in leading, coaching, and developing the accounting team, creating an environment where team members can develop their skills and take the next steps in their careers. For a CPA who wants to combine hands-on accounting expertise with meaningful leadership and process improvement, this role offers the opportunity to make a visible impact within a growing organization.What You'll Own:Accounting Operations & Financial AccuracyMonth-End, Quarter-End & Year-End CloseTeam Leadership & DevelopmentProcess Improvement & Business PartnershipCompliance & Audit Background RequiredEducationRequired:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required.Experience:Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience required.Minimum of 2 years of direct people leadership experience, including hiring, training, coaching, performance management, and employee development.Experience supervising transactional accounting functions, including accounts payable and general ledger activities.Experience working in a healthcare, multi-site, or private equity-backed organization is preferred.Skills & Capabilities:Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, financial reporting, and accounting operations.Demonstrated ability to train, mentor, and develop accounting professionals.Proven experience reviewing staff work for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting and expense management systems.Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively partner with accounting, operational, and departmental leaders.Ability to balance attention to detail with the ability to identify opportunities for broader process and operational improvements.For immediate consideration, email your resume to Thyra at View email address on click.appcast.io
