JobSummary – Asset Supply Chain Manager Salary Range $160,000 to $170,000 The Asset andSupply Chain Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, andmanaging asset lifecycle procurement strategies, maintenance inventoryprograms, materials management processes, and supply chain initiatives thatsupport safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations within the AirSeparation Unit (ASU) Reliability Department. This position serves as thecritical link between Reliability, Maintenance, Operations, Procurement,Warehousing, and external suppliers to ensure the right materials, parts, andservices are available at the right time while optimizing inventoryinvestment and maximizing equipment reliability. Essential Functions Lead Maintenance Repair and Operations inventory optimization efforts to balance equipment reliability and inventory carrying costs. Manage inventory levels, reorder points, safety stock requirements, and warehouse performance metrics. Conduct regular audits of inventory accuracy, obsolete materials, and excess stock. Ensure all critical spare parts are properly identified, cataloged, stored, preserved, and maintained. Develop and implement inventory control procedures and cycle count programs. Develop and maintain asset lifecycle procurement strategies for critical ASU equipment. Establish criticality rankings for plant assets and align spare parts strategies accordingly. Collaborate with Reliability Engineers and Maintenance personnel to identify and manage critical spare components. Provide execution oversight and expediting of critical spare parts, long-lead equipment, and reliability-related procurement activities to ensure operational readiness and minimize risk to plant reliability. Oversee transportation, logistics, shipping, receiving, and warehousing activities to ensure the timely and cost-effective movement of materials, equipment, and critical spare parts. Develop sourcing and procurement strategies for reliability-related materials, equipment, and services. Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers, OEMs, and service providers. Monitor supplier performance, quality, delivery reliability, and contract compliance. Identify opportunities for supply chain optimization, cost reduction, and risk mitigation. Coordinate long-lead procurement activities supporting maintenance outages and capital projects. Partner with reliability and engineering to ensure spare parts recommendations are integrated into maintenance strategies. Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. Develop and maintain procedures for inventory management, asset tracking, and supplier qualification. Drive digitalization initiatives related to MAPS systems and inventory management processes. Required for All Jobs Performsother duties as assigned Complieswith all policies and standards Qualifications Education Associate's Degree Associate degree in supply chain plus 10 years ofrelated experience - Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or IndustrialEngineering or supply chain management plus 5 years of related experience -Preferred High School/GED High school or High School equivalent - Required Work Experience 5-7years Experiencein supply chain, inventory management, maintenance planning, reliability,asset management, or industrial operations - Required 3-5years Leadershipor management experience - Preferred 3-5years Experiencemanaging MRO inventory and critical spare parts programs - Required 5-7years Experienceimplementing inventory optimization initiatives and digital asset managementsystems - Required 3-5Years Experiencesupporting industrial manufacturing, chemical processing, oil and gas, airseparation, power generation, or related process industries - Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge Asset lifecycle management principles. Reliability engineering fundamentals and maintenance best practices. MRO inventory control and warehouse management. Supply chain planning, procurement, sourcing, and supplier management. Critical spare parts analysis and inventory optimization methodologies. CMMS/EAM systems such as SAP, Maximo, Oracle, Ignition or similar platforms. Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies. Budget development, cost control, and financial analysis. Industrial safety practices and regulatory compliance requirements. Licenses and Certifications Certification CMRP(Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional) Preferred Certification Vib ISOCAT II or above Preferred Physical Demands/Working Conditions Occasionallyliftand/or move objects up to 50 pounds. WorkingCondition Thisrole will be performed in office environments as well as in industrial fieldenvironments. While performing duties of this job it would occasionally berequired to: Beexposed to moving mechanical parts and extreme cold (e.g. operating plant). Beexposedto outside weather conditions (e.g. cold box valves, filling trailers). Beexposed to high, precarious places (e.g. cold box, repair work) Beexposed to high noise levels (e.g. Plant rounds, maintenance) Travel Requirements 25% Ability to travel and required to provide plantsupport, vendor audits, and equipment FATs.
