Software, AI, IT & Data Evaluation Consultant

Role Description

We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for software, AI, IT, and data professionals experienced in reviewing technical documents, spreadsheets, slide decks, system summaries, data analyses, AI-related materials, implementation plans, and presentation-ready technical artifacts for accuracy, rigor, clarity, and domain quality. This role supports current and upcoming remote consulting opportunities focused on software, AI, IT, and data artifact review, rubric-based evaluation, document and spreadsheet assessment, slide deck quality review, structured feedback, and high-quality project execution. Selected professionals will evaluate AI-generated work products and apply subject-matter expertise to identify factual, technical, analytical, aesthetic, and presentation issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Artifact Review
  • Evaluate AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks involving software, AI, IT systems, data analysis, technical planning, product workflows, architecture summaries, and implementation materials.
  • Review technical materials for accuracy, completeness, rigor, clarity, and practical relevance.
  • Assess whether technical conclusions are supported by appropriate assumptions, evidence, and domain reasoning.
  • Identify inaccurate claims, weak technical logic, unclear recommendations, incomplete analysis, or poor linkage between data and conclusions.
• Software, AI & Data Evaluation
  • Review materials involving software architecture, APIs, data pipelines, AI systems, model behavior, analytics, dashboards, technical specifications, and implementation planning.
  • Evaluate whether recommendations are realistic, technically sound, and aligned with the stated business or technical context.
  • Assess spreadsheets, reports, technical summaries, and executive-facing materials for rigor and usability.
  • Provide clear written feedback that improves technical quality and artifact usefulness.
• Spreadsheet, Document & Presentation Quality Review
  • Review spreadsheets for structure, logic, calculations, formatting, usability, and consistency.
  • Assess slide decks for organization, visual clarity, executive readability, and presentation quality.
  • Identify factual, aesthetic, formatting, and presentation errors across Microsoft Office and Google Workspace files.
  • Apply consistent review standards across documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in software engineering, AI, machine learning, IT systems, data analysis, data science, analytics, technical product work, or related fields.
• Native or professional fluency in English.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Strong experience with Google Slides, PowerPoint, Excel, Google Sheets, Word, and Google Docs.
• Ability to evaluate documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written communication skills and ability to provide structured feedback.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, project-based environment.

Educational Background

• Academic backgrounds in computer science, software engineering, data science, information systems, artificial intelligence, statistics, mathematics, engineering, or related fields may be relevant.
• Advanced degree from a reputable institution may be valuable.
• Professional training in software engineering, AI, analytics, data systems, technical documentation, or product delivery may also be relevant depending on project scope.

Nice to Have

• Master's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Experience with Python, SQL, APIs, cloud platforms, data pipelines, BI tools, LLMs, machine learning systems, technical documentation, or software architecture.
• Experience creating or reviewing technical specifications, AI product materials, analytics reports, system summaries, implementation plans, technical decks, or data-driven presentations.
• Familiarity with product analytics, model evaluation, software QA, data quality, dashboard review, or technical decision materials.
• Strong ability to evaluate both technical substance and visual/presentation quality.
