Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - Join Our Growing Team!

At Highland Springs Post Acute, we're dedicated to providing exceptional post-acute care to our residents. As a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) on our team, you'll play a vital role in helping our patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Openings: Full Time and PRN

About the Role:

As a PTA, you'll work closely with our experienced physical therapy team to establish treatment plans and treat patients using a variety of methods, including exercises, stretching maneuvers, hands-on therapy, and equipment. Your goal will be to ease patients' pain, increase their mobility, and help them regain their independence.

Responsibilities:

• Establish treatment plans and treat patients under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist

• Use a variety of techniques, including exercises, stretching, and hands-on therapy to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals

• Work closely with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans

• Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

• Maintain accurate records and reports on patient treatment and progress

Requirements:

• Must have completed an accredited program and possess a valid VA PTA license

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant or related field preferred
