Radiology Technologist Lead

Schedule and Location: Full time, Day shift in United States of America at 100 Health Park Dr, Louisville, Colorado 80027. Responsibilities Monitors and supports compliance with departmental policies, radiation safety guidelines, ALARA principles, and regulatory/accreditation standards. Maintains accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS systems. Submits high‑quality images and documents promptly, ensuring image quality, correct lead markers, and patient data/history. Educates patients about the exam and completes all exams in a timely manner, maintaining workflow and minimizing empty table time. Supports scheduling of personnel to provide adequate coverage during all hours of operation, using flexible staffing when appropriate. Practices infection control standards and uses approved PPE and disinfectant agents. Collaborates with radiologists and other healthcare providers to ensure appropriate imaging and continuity of patient care. Ensures quality in imaging, patient care, and workflow. Oversees quality control testing, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting. Serves as a resource to department staff and other team members as needed. Performs staff orientation, training, and coaching, and provides input for performance evaluations. Promotes a positive patient experience by ensuring service excellence, effective communication, and the delivery of timely, high‑quality care by the team. Leads, organizes, and directs daily radiology department workflow of patients, technologists, and students. Other duties as assigned. Qualities, Skills, and Abilities Education: High School Graduate or equivalent required; Associate, Bachelor's preferred. Work Experience: 1+ years experience required; 2+ years preferred. Experience as a registered technologist or training in all complex exams/procedures such as fluoroscopy and OR image guidance (preferred). Ability to train and coach new hires or radiology students (preferred). Experience with scheduling, coordinating, inventory, protocol management, leadership, etc. (preferred). Licenses & Certifications Registered Technologist – Radiography RT(R)(ARRT) required. Basic Life Support – CPR Cert (BLS) required. Additional licensure or certification requirements may apply depending on the specific unit or state in which this position is located.
