Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) position in a healthcare facility. This role involves administering respiratory therapies, managing ventilators, conducting patient assessments, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols for pediatric and neonatal patients. The position requires flexibility with shift times and a commitment to patient safety and quality care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days/Nights, 5:30 AM - 6:00 PM, 5:30 PM - 6:00 AM, rotating schedule, approximately 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, RRT, Nevada (NM) license; Pediatric and neonatal experience required; and the ability to obtain NRP certification before or immediately after start. Two or more years of experience preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric and neonatal critical care experience.
• Additional Information: The position involves administering respiratory therapies such as oxygen treatments, aerosol therapies, and ventilator management. Responsibilities include performing arterial blood gas punctures, managing airway devices, assisting with invasive and non-invasive procedures, and conducting pulmonary and cardiac stress tests. The Respiratory Therapist must follow established protocols and safety standards, and be certified by the National Board of Respiratory Care to provide cardiopulmonary services. The role is for coverage due to leave and does not require floating.
