What You'll Do:

Assist with maintaining and repairing diesel engines and heavy equipment.

Learn to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Support repairs on engines, brakes, tires, and other critical equipment components.

Perform diagnostic testing to identify and resolve equipment issues.

Complete preventive maintenance, including inspections, lubrication, and greasing.

Assist with fabrication and minor repair projects to keep equipment operating safely and efficiently.

Accurately document maintenance and repair work.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment.

What We're Looking For:

Strong mechanical aptitude and desire to build a career in diesel mechanics

Positive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced technicians

Ability to follow instructions and work safely in a shop environment

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Dependable work ethic and willingness to work overnight shifts

Interest in diesel engines, heavy equipment, and hands-on repair work

Preferred Experience:

Exposure to diesel engines, automotive repair, heavy equipment, agriculture equipment, or related mechanical work

Experience working with tools in a professional, school, military, or personal setting

Interest in learning welding, fabrication, and advanced diagnostic techniques

Schedule:

Overnight Shift: 11:00 PM - 8:00 AM Start Monday night and finish Saturday morning at 8:00 AM

Work Environment:

Work in a clean, professional shop equipped with industry-standard tools and diagnostic equipment. You'll gain hands-on experience working on diesel engines, heavy equipment, and mechanical systems while building valuable skills that can lead to a long-term career in the diesel industry.

Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Rosemount, MN.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $93600.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
