Fleet Diesel Equipment MechanicLocation: Rosemont, MN 55068Role Snapshot
Join a hands-on role focused on keeping diesel vehicles and equipment safe, reliable, and efficient. You’ll diagnose, service, and repair critical systems while partnering with a skilled team and following rigorous safety practices.
What You’ll Do- Conduct routine inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting on diesel-powered assets.
- Service and repair components including fuel injectors, turbochargers, and exhaust systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance to sustain peak performance and minimize downtime.
- Document all work performed and maintenance findings with accuracy.
- Team up with other mechanics to resolve complex mechanical issues.
- Stay informed on new diesel technologies and evolving industry standards.
- Keep the shop clean and organized while adhering to safety protocols.
- High school diploma or equivalent; diesel tech coursework or certification preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in diesel maintenance and repair.
- Strong working knowledge of diesel engines and subsystems.
- Comfort reading technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
- Excellent diagnostic, problem-solving, and detail-oriented approach.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history.
- Collaborative communication style and team-first mindset.
