Responsibilities

• Greet and room patients, ensuring a welcoming experience
• Schedule patient appointments and answer phones promptly
• Take vital signs and assist with clinical procedures
• Draw blood and perform phlebotomy/venipuncture tasks
• Administer vaccines and provide clinical support as needed
• Maintain effective communication with patients and staff
• Support the maintenance of electronic medical records (EMR)
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure smooth clinic operations

Required Skills

• Minimum of 1 year of medical assistant experience (including externship)
• Strong proficiency in phlebotomy/venipuncture and EMR systems
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
• Effective computer skills to document and manage patient information

Additional Skills & Requirements

• Medical Assistant Certification is strongly preferred
• Experience with occupational health, workers' compensation, and W/C is a plus
• Willingness to work in a role supporting occupational health and adult patients
• Experience with health screenings and health education is advantageous
• Ability to work in a flexible schedule including multiple shifts and dates
• Experience with patient fee collection and on-site dispensing is helpful but not required
