- Sales and Community Outreach InternHouston, TX 77055; Houston, TX 77092-8891## OverviewPosition TypeInternship## Description**Position Description:**This hands-on internship is ideal for entry level individuals interested in sales, marketing, or community relations.In this dynamic, people-facing role, you’ll represent the Lyte Fiber brand in neighborhoods and at community events—helping promote our high-speed fiber internet services. Interns will gain real-world experience in door-to-door sales, grassroots marketing, and customer interaction, while building valuable professional skills. This is a paid internship with hourly compensation plus commissionopportunities.**Duties and Responsibilities:*** Visit neighborhoods to promote Lyte Fiber services through direct, in-person outreach* Communicate product benefits and help residents understand their options for faster internet* Support grassroots marketing campaigns, including distributing flyers, posting signage, and local outreach* Represent Lyte Fiber at community events, festivals, farmers markets, and pop-up booths* Collaborate with our sales and marketing teams to share field feedback and refine strategies* Track activity and performance metrics under the guidance of a mentor or team lead**Other Duties**:Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities required of the employee for this job. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time, with or without notice.## Qualifications**Minimum Qualifications:*** Individual interested in learning sales, marketing, communications, or business* Outgoing, confident, and comfortable speaking with people in person* Self-motivated, coachable, and eager to learn new skills* Available for a flexible schedule, including some evenings or weekends for events* Reliable transportation preferred (but not always required)* Prior customer-facing or event experience is a plus—but not required**Physical Demands and Work Environment*** The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
