Role Description The Instructional Facilitator is a contract, on‑site role based in Wilmington, DE, responsible for delivering engaging, age‑appropriate instruction to youth participants ages 10–18. Each day, the Facilitator will lead lessons and activities focused on entrepreneurship, skill development, and college and career readiness, using provided curricula and supplemental learning materials. The role includes preparing lesson plans, managing classroom dynamics, guiding group projects, and providing individualized support to participants. The Facilitator will collaborate with program staff to track student progress, maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment, and communicate regularly with families and stakeholders about program goals and outcomes. The role may also involve contributing feedback on curriculum improvements and assisting with special events, workshops, and community outreach as needed. Qualifications Experience facilitating instruction or workshops for youth, with strong classroom management and group engagement skills. Background or demonstrated interest in entrepreneurship, career readiness, or skill-building education. Ability to design or adapt lesson plans, activities, and projects to meet varied learning styles and age groups. Strong communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to inclusive, gender-neutral, and culturally responsive practices. Organizational skills for managing schedules, materials, and documentation of student progress and program outcomes. Previous experience in youth development, after‑school programs, or community-based education is highly beneficial. Ability to work on‑site in Wilmington, DE, including evenings or weekends as program needs require. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Education, Youth Development, Social Sciences, or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
