This role involves providing anesthesia care across multiple facilities, including a Level I Trauma Center and community hospitals, with a focus on adult patients and limited pediatric cases. The environment is fast-paced, with a robust support staff and a medically directed care team model.

Clinical Scope

• Supports adult patient population; limited pediatric cases; no cardiac cases
• Performs regional anesthesia: epidurals, spinals, arterial lines
• Provides anesthesia for trauma, high-risk OB/GYN, orthopedic, general, thoracic, and neurosurgery cases
• Handles large vascular cases
• Involved in trauma cases, with no expectation for cardiac cases

Practice Environment

• Hospital-based across multiple facilities, including a Level I Trauma Center with 700 beds
• EMR: Cerner
• Fast-paced trauma environment with extensive support staff and interdisciplinary collaboration

Requirements

• Active Virginia medical license
• Board Certified (active certification verification required)
• Level I Trauma experience required
