What You’ll Do As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will lead complex tax and accounting engagements, ensuring deliverables are accurate, timely, and meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. You will serve as a trusted technical resource and mentor to team members, providing guidance and support to help develop talent and strengthen team performance. In addition, you will build and maintain strong client relationships, deliver proactive solutions to address client needs, and play an active role in improving processes, enhancing operational efficiency, upholding firm standards, and supporting leadership initiatives that drive the continued success and growth of the organization. Accounting & Tax Prepare and review individual and business tax returns Oversee accounting matters and close processes Lead tax research and apply guidance to client-specific scenarios Support advanced tax planning and advisory work Review financial statements and reconciliations for accuracy and compliance Client Leadership Serve as a trusted advisor and escalation point for clients Proactively identify risks, opportunities, and improvements Communicate complex accounting and tax matters clearly to clients, with senior team members' execution Team Leadership & Quality Ensure compliance with firm standards, policies, and deadlines Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentorship Review work prepared by Accountants and Staff Accountants Assist with onboarding and training of new members What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree in accounting 2-5+ years of relevant combined accounting and tax experience in a local or regional CPA firm Proficiency in accounting and tax knowledge Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., UltraTax) preferred CPA Required Strong technical accounting and tax knowledge Demonstrated ability to apply accounting principles and exercise professional judgment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Effective written and verbal communication skills, including client interaction Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities What We Offer Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance (Coverage begins on the first of the month following your start date.)
