Seeking a Senior Technical Product Owner (TPO) to lead the roadmap, backlog, and delivery of an enterprise Data & Analytics Platform . The role bridges business stakeholders, BI teams, and engineering teams to ensure data, analytics, and reporting solutions are delivered effectively through Agile methodologies.
Location:
- Hybrid: Leawood, KS or Burlington, MA preferred
- Remote within the U.S. may be considered
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and prioritize the product backlog, features, and user stories.
- Manage sprint planning, feature development, and release delivery.
- Work closely with business, BI, and engineering teams.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Create and maintain the product roadmap.
- Gather stakeholder requirements and incorporate feedback.
- Track product delivery against roadmap and business goals.
- Support Agile ceremonies and backlog refinement.
- Monitor product performance, UAT, and customer feedback.
- Drive communication, documentation, release notes, and training materials.
- Identify risks early and guide trade-off decisions.
Required Experience:
- 5+ years in Product Ownership, Product Management, Agile Delivery, Consulting, or IT.
- Experience working with cloud data platforms and BI tools such as:
- Snowflake
- Tableau
- Experience in Agile environments; SAFe is preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience managing platform-level products or shared services.
- Ability to prioritize competing demands and adapt to changing business needs.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Required Skills:
- Product backlog management and prioritization.
- Writing features, epics, and user stories.
- Translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Product roadmap planning and execution.
- Agile/Scrum/SAFe methodology knowledge.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Understanding of MVP (Minimum Viable Product) concepts.
- Strong digital and technology acumen.
Nice to Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience with AI-assisted analytics tools.
- Experience supporting enterprise data, analytics, and reporting platforms.
