Would you like to work at a fun, collaborative practice that focuses on providing care of the highest standards? We have an opportunity for a Board-Certified Internist to join an exceptional group. This is a thriving emergency/specialty animal practice in Syracuse, New York. The top-of-the-line facility currently offers 24 hour emergency in addition to Internal Medicine, Surgery, Oncology, Radiology, Nutrition, Anesthesiology, and Critical Care.

The IMed department is equipped to provide the highest standards of care that is evidence-based. The IMed Suite was recently renovated and offers a beautiful workspace. The endoscopic tower was recently upgraded, and additional scopes to allow for cystoscopy, ureteroscopy, and bronchoscopy in small patients were added. The facility maintains an in-house stock of blood products as well as an active community whole blood donor program to support the needs of transfusion patients. It is also equipped with a HiFlo Nasal Oxygen Unit.

Ultrasound capabilities is desired but not required, as there is a skilled Radiologist to perform advanced ultrasound for both in-patients and out-patients. Boarded Internists and those who have completed an ACVIM approved residency will be considered for the position, and third year residents are encouraged to apply.

Compensation/Benefits: Excellent pay and benefits in addition to other perks. A robust benefits package including CE allowance, PTO, disability/life/PLIT insurance, paid FMLA leave, and Stock. (Compensation: $100,000 – $150,000. Compensation may be negotiable.)
