Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Summary:
Experienced ICU Registered Nurse needed for a 26-bed Medical ICU. Providing advanced patient care and supporting critical clinical interventions, the RN ensures optimal outcomes for complex medical cases.

Responsibilities:

Lead patient care by managing critically ill patients with complex diagnoses such as cardiac arrest, sepsis, neuro surgical conditions, DKA, and GI Bleeds.
Titrate and monitor all IV drips including pressors, sedation, paralytics, antiarrhythmics, and insulin, adhering to protocols.
Respond to codes and rapid response calls as the charge nurse, coordinating emergency interventions.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including hospitalists, residents, fellows, RTs, and PCTs to deliver comprehensive care.
Interpret telemetry strips and utilize ICU equipment such as vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and Trach management systems effectively.
Document patient progress accurately and maintain compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications:

Valid ICU RN license with experience in a Medical ICU setting.
Must have current BLS and ACLS certifications; CCRN preferred.
Demonstrated ability to titrate drips such as pressors, sedation, and insulin.
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and rapid decision-making skills.
Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
