Job Description We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a rapid admission unit. The unit primarily caters to general medical and surgical patients awaiting surgery. The ideal candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a rapid admission setting. Manage a patient ratio of 5-6:1, ensuring efficient and effective care. Monitor patient status and report any changes to the healthcare team. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Document patient assessments, care plans, and treatment outcomes accurately. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical/surgical nursing specialty. Current RN license verification through Nursys. Relevant certifications (e.g., BLS, ACLS) must be maintained. Resume with no gaps greater than 60 days in work history.
