Pediatric Clinical Manager, RN

LE0002 Family First Homecare, LLC

The Clinical Manager (CM) is responsible for managing the delivery of quality clinical services within an assigned group of patients. The CM partners with the Director of Nursing (DON) and Director of Operations (DOO) to identify, interview, onboard, supervise, and train caregivers; ensures comprehensive assessments and care plans; and coordinates patient care. Responsibilities Identify, interview, and onboard caregivers. Provide supervision, leadership, training, guidance, and mentoring to all assigned caregivers. Collaborate with leadership and the compliance committee on clinical information delivery. Evaluate patient appropriateness for homecare. Ensure completion of comprehensive assessments upon admission, recertification, post-hospitalization, and PRN. Guarantee current physician orders and care plans for all assigned patients. Manage care coordination and supervision, including disciplinary actions. Maintain the competency program and provide educational support as needed for skill development. Promote employee engagement and retention. Participate in policy and procedure reviews for compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards. Engage in the quality assurance performance improvement (QAPI) program. Assist in coordinating and overseeing plans of correction and quality initiatives. Lead cohesive teams toward common goals in partnership with the DON and DOO. Support development and implementation of new products and services. Maintain professional, supportive, and responsive communication skills. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications RN license in the state of employment or a multi-state license through the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact. Registered Nurse with at least 1 year of clinical experience. Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance. Working knowledge of home‑care regulatory and federal requirements. Proven customer‑service skills, independent judgment, initiative, organization, and time‑management skills. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to travel to Family First office locations and patient homes throughout the designated area. Preferred: 1 year of supervisory experience. Excellent organizational, problem‑solving, decision‑making, presentation, and communication skills. Outstanding leadership, teaching, and training skills. Forward‑thinking with creativity and the ability to think outside the box. State Specific Requirements Illinois: 1 year of pediatric experience. Pennsylvania: Additional background screening for child abuse and FBI check; TB screening with 2‑step PPD or 1‑step PPD with proof of 2‑step PPD administration within the last year. Working Conditions Work is performed indoors in a typical office environment. Requires lifting up to 15 pounds and frequent use of office machines (telephone, computer, printer). Travel may be required by car or airplane to local, out‑of‑town, or state seminars, conferences, meetings, or other branch office locations. Pay Philosophy The starting salary range is determined by skills, experience, education, certifications, and location. The salary reflects the competitive labor market value and provides opportunities for advancement. The role may include a bonus based on compensation plan variables.
