Description Skills and Knowledge Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies. Collaborate with production personnel to improve equipment reliability and operational efficiency. Maintain clean, organized, and safe maintenance work areas. Participate in scheduled maintenance shutdowns and emergency repair situations. High school diploma or GED required. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime. Maintain accurate maintenance records, repair logs, and work orders. Install, align, and test new equipment and machinery as required. Perform welding, fabrication, and equipment modifications when necessary. Technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance preferred. Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, agriculture, feed mill, or poultry operations preferred. Strong knowledge of industrial mechanical systems and preventative maintenance practices. Basic electrical troubleshooting experience preferred. Welding and fabrication experience is a plus. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and work in confined spaces. Comfortable working in dusty, noisy, and temperature-variable environments. Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or on-call shifts as needed.
