AssemblerThe Dana facility in Humboldt, TN is excited to announce the upcoming launch of our new driveshaft production lines in early 2025. Dana has multiple opportunities for you to join our team as a CV Assembler to produce driveshafts. The CV Assembler is responsible for assembling, fabricating and inspecting various products. This position performs a variety of assembly operations and processes to make completed driveshafts using hand tools, jigs, fixtures, light power tools, and other equipment.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesOperate, load and unload machines using hoistChange over and set up of machine, tools, and materialInspect and gage parts per quality control planFinish parts using handheld grinders, deburr tools, welder, etc.Ability to use power tools, hand tools and material conveyance equipment effectivelyRecord all defects and scrapRecord pieces producedComplete all required paperworkMaintain a clean and organized work areaFollow all safety guidelines and protocolsPerform special instructions/requests as determined by the supervisorEducation and QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferredAssembly or manufacturing experience preferred, but not requiredSkills and CompetenciesAvailable, present and on time for work as scheduled including overtimeStand for an 8 hour shift and additional hours if overtime is scheduledPush/pull with a force up to 50 poundsLift up to 30 pounds, 50 pounds occasionallyStoop or bend to move parts and clean machines in work areaAbility and willingness to rotate jobsWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class.
