Security Project Engineer

This position is responsible for project coordination, safety, installation, checkout, commissioning, and troubleshooting.Ensures that daily actitivites on site for projects are completed and regular progress on projects are communicated to the project manager.Responsibilities: Ensure all design engineer activity is aligned with latest conformed construction documents prior to installationCollaborates with project manager and procurement personnel on purchasing activity and monitors budget risksAssist the PM in material procurementEnsure materials are being delivered to site or subcontractors for installation.Validate hardware and project installationsInstall, replace and re-commission devices, equipment, and softwareDiagnose communication problems and install control devices and other components as well as troubleshoot software and hardware issuesParticipate in field quality control or safety audits and review analysis and resultsCoordinate with on-site contractors for the installation of equipment based on shop drawingsAct as primary point of contact for subcontractors during installation phaseCoordinate and address any issues during installation phase independentlyCollaborate with the Project Manager to coordinate projects through the installation phaseProvide feedback to the Project Manager for manpower requirementsMake sure that installation tracking sheets are updated regularlyPrepare customer-training manuals and provide customized trainingContribute to a complete operations to service turnover processResponsible for overall system functionality/performance.Setup outside ISP connections and remote connectivity to customer sitesWhat qualifications will make you successful? At least 4 years’ experience as a Systems Application Engineer with related industry knowledge, and demonstrated communication skills for interfacing directly with customers and other tradesThis individual should have experience with HVAC and security installations and be proficient in all types of building systems and application of our technology.Shall be capable of coordination of other project team activities on site, including coordination with other trades, commissioning agents, and customersAble to modify and update design drawings and maintain red line documentsLet us learn about you!
