PRN Inpatient Hospitalist NP or PA

UVA Community Health is seeking to employ a PRN Inpatient Hospitalist NP or PA to join our rapidly growing provider team at Prince William Medical Center. We believe in caring for the whole person by getting to know them, having conversations and making personal connections. Culpeper Medical Center proudly serves the growing and diverse northern Virginia community through an integrated network of inpatient and outpatient services and programs. Our campus is home to our 70-bed, community hospital, Family Birth Center and 24/7 emergency department.

Responsibilities include:

• Visiting bedside and answering questions
• Ordering tests, medications and treatments
• Communicating with patients, their families and their primary care physician on condition and care
• Consulting with additional specialists, as needed
• Providing discharge instructions about further care, medication and follow-up
• Sending a hospital care summary to your primary care physician

The base compensation range for this role is an hourly rate of $75.00 for PRN status. Individual compensation will be determined by fair market value and the selected candidate's qualifications, clinical experience, specialty training, credentials, and/or education. Please note that the pay range does not include any applicable incentive compensation programs, such as productivity, quality, non-productivity, or other incentives that may be available for eligible positions.

Our Manassas campus is complemented by additional outpatient services in Gainesville, Haymarket, South Riding, Culpeper and Woodbridge.
