About the Role
The Company is in search of a VP - Deposit Operations Manager to oversee all retail operations related to various transaction processing activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the check and deposit account processing function, including check payments, deposited items, ACH, overdrafts, return items, and ATM and debit card settlement. This role also involves overseeing the lockbox remittance processing, preparing statistical control reports, resolving customer issues, and managing the Bank's customer Masterfile records. The VP - Deposit Operations Manager will lead a team, ensuring the efficient and timely management of customer deposit accounts, and will be involved in coaching, mentoring, and employee development. Applicants for the VP - Deposit Operations Manager position at the company should have a college degree in a business-related or technical field, with a high school diploma or GED required. A minimum of ten years of experience in retail banking or a related field, with a strong background in deposit account processing activities, is essential. The role demands a candidate with proven supervisory and management skills, a working knowledge of fundamental bank compliance topics, and the ability to demonstrate logical judgment, attention to detail, and effective time management. Excellent communication, both oral and written, and technological skills are also necessary. The ideal candidate is someone who is proactive in their development, detail-oriented, and adept at multitasking.
