Quick Facts Location: Portage, WI (2817 New Pinery Road) Start Date: 08/22/2026 Duration: 13 weeks (with possible extension) Shift: 12-hour shifts (day/night rotations) Hours/Week: 36-40 Employment Type: Contract/Per diem Licensure/Certs: State license required Experience: 2+ years in Emergency Medicine or Acute Care Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00 Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You’ll Do Provide emergency medical care to a diverse patient population Perform comprehensive assessments of patients presenting with acute conditions Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement treatment plans Document patient histories, examinations, and treatments accurately Assist with procedures and diagnostic tests as needed Ensure patient safety and deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced environment What You Need Required: Valid State Physician Assistant license Minimum of 2 years’ experience in emergency medicine or similar BLS, ACLS certifications Strong clinical decision-making skills Ability to work independently and effectively in a team setting Preferred: Experience with trauma or critical care Bilingual abilities About the Assignment This position is with a leading healthcare facility in Portage, Wisconsin, dedicated to providing excellent emergency services in a supportive environment.
