Hanwha AeroTechnix is an FAA-certified repair station and teardown facility specializing in the disassembly, inspection, repair, and maintenance of aircraft engines, maintaining high standards of safety and quality. This role is crucial for supporting the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records and smooth financial processes for the company’s specialized aviation services. The TL;DR Role: Early Career Type: Full-time Location: In-person, Miami, FL Mission: This person ensures accurate financial transaction processing and maintenance of essential financial records, directly supporting the company’s aerospace operations. Tech Stack: Excel, accounting systems, email, document management tools What You’ll Actually Do Process Transactions: Accurately process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including preparing, verifying, and posting invoices for maintenance, repair, and overhaul services. Maintain Financial Records: Reconcile vendor statements, customer accounts, and general ledger balances, while also assisting in maintaining financial records, filing systems, and accounting documentation. Manage Daily Finances: Enter vendor invoices, match purchase orders, process payments, track customer collections, and accurately record cash and digital daily transactions into general ledgers. Support Month-End Activities: Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including inventory cost reconciliation for MRO parts and materials, and generate financial reports for management review. Ensure Compliance and Communication: Coordinate with Purchasing and Operations to verify work orders and purchase orders, respond to vendor and customer inquiries, and ensure compliance with company accounting policies. The Must-Haves Background: Early Career. Candidates should possess an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Foundational accounting skills, including journal entry posting, account reconciliation, and basic financial reporting, are required. Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience. Specific experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processing, including invoice review, payment posting, and collections support. Skills: Proficiency with accounting and office software such as Excel, strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy, and effective communication and collaboration abilities.
