Marketing Analyst

The Sage Group's client, a beloved and highly successful software collaboration tools company, is seeking a senior team member who will analyze trends in solution partner marketing activities and how these activities drive partner sourced pipeline and customer growth. In this role you will apply knowledge of statistics, machine learning, programming, data modeling, simulation, and advanced mathematics to recognize patterns, identify opportunities, pose business questions, and make valuable discoveries leading to prototype development and product improvement. Use a flexible, analytical approach to design, develop, and evaluate predictive models and advanced algorithms that lead to optimal value extraction from the data. Generate and test hypotheses and analyze and interpret the results of product experiments. Work with product engineers to translate prototypes into new products, services, and features and provide guidelines for large-scale implementation. Provide Business Intelligence (BI) and data visualization support, which includes, but is limited to support for the online customer service dashboards and other ad-hoc requests requiring data analysis and visual support.

You will also:

• Analyze Marketing's contribution to partner-sourced pipeline (our primary metric). Leads / Campaigns generated – Leads generated through partner marketing programs and campaigns across all customer segments. Partner engagement – Number of partners actively engaged and enabled in the Partner Marketing Center (PMC) and other marketing disciplines.
• Drive pipeline predictability by partnering closely with sales and channel teams to track, forecast, and optimise marketing-sourced and marketing-influenced pipeline across the partner ecosystem.
• Owns the data model for Partner Marketing Documents and maintains all KPIs, dimensions, and definitions, such as marketing-influenced partner-sourced pipeline, activities, unique domains, and DF ROI.
• Ensure Partner Marketing integrates into the core Marketing analytics stack rather than remaining separate.
• Own conversion and ROI metrics: lead-to-opportunity conversion rate, development fund ROI (e.g., 15x with partner marketing vs. 8x without), average partner-sourced deal size with vs. without partner marketing, cloud ACV, cloud choice rate, and others.
• Builds and maintains dashboards and reports: Owns Tableau and SFDC views such as the Partner Marketing OKR dashboards and "Partner Marketing Partner Influenced Pipeline" views, including filters for: Managed versus unmanaged partners Marketing-influenced versus non-influenced opportunities DF versus non-DF Region, solution, platform, and fiscal period.
• Publishes quarterly summaries, such as FY25 Influence Summary and FY26 Q1 Marketing Influenced Partner Sourced Pipeline.
• Ensures consistency and a common language with core Marketing: Aligns partner marketing definitions with GTM core metrics (e.g., defines "influenced pipeline" consistently across Direct and Partner).
• Apply marketing analytics to measure, report, and continuously improve the performance of partner marketing programs, ensuring data-driven decision-making across the team.
• Translate marketing data into clear, actionable insights — connecting campaign performance, partner engagement signals, and pipeline metrics to drive smarter investment decisions and program optimization.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reporting frameworks to track marketing performance metrics, pipeline contribution, and partner program health across the portfolio.
• Collaborate with Marketing Analytics and Marketing Ops to integrate partner metrics into the broader Marketing scorecard.
• Supports planning and decision-making Uses data to guide: Which partners to manage and prioritize Which tactics and solutions to scale in PMC Where to allocate DF and MDF
• Provide packaged insights (dashboards and ad hoc analysis) to better enable partners and unlock customer growth through partner marketing.
• Analyze to scale partner marketing programs and collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs and reporting that measure your recommendations' success.
• Maintain high data collection standards by working with third-party vendors, data engineers, and business stakeholders to improve data quality.
• Collaborate with marketers, product teams, and senior leadership to prioritize data in business decisions.

Requirements: 5-7 years of experience in Marketing Analytics, ideally in a partner environment Knowledge in Jira, Asana or Confluence, SQL, Databricks, Data Mining tools, Tableau, Salesforce, Socrates Highly organized, strong communications skills working with leadership and high-level stakeholders Experienced in Data Mining Tools B2B, Tech industry experience
