About the Role
The Company is seeking an Area Executive Vice President for the Los Angeles market. This leadership role is pivotal in driving the company's growth strategy, with a focus on organic growth and the expansion of its footprint. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a growth plan, establishing revenue targets, and ensuring the alignment of the Producer team with the overall plan. Key responsibilities include strategic direction, sales management, and people development. The role demands a thoughtful, strategic leader with a proven track record in the Employee Benefits market, strong financial acumen, and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The Area Executive Vice President will also be the principal local advocate for the company's value proposition, business philosophy, and core values. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree, at least 8 years of leadership experience in insurance or brokerage, and a strong reputation in the Employee Benefits market. The role requires a builder of teams, capable of attracting and integrating high-caliber talent, and a commitment to ethical business practices. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, a passion for developing others, and a commitment to leading according to the company's values. Responsibilities also include financial management, mergers, and building strong relationships with Carrier Representatives in the local market. The Area Executive Vice President will work closely with the Area President and other key stakeholders to ensure the company's growth goals are met and will be involved in all aspects of the business, from recruitment to performance management.
