Join us and help build the future of global investing!About the RoleAs a Senior QA Engineer on the Digital Assets team, you will own end-to-end quality for DriveWealth's cryptocurrency and digital assets product suite. You will design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks that validate trading workflows, custodial integrations, blockchain settlement, and regulatory compliance across our crypto infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with backend engineers, DevOps, product, and compliance teams to ship reliable, auditable, and regulation-ready software.What You'll DoDesign and implement comprehensive test strategies for digital asset trading workflows including order lifecycle, settlement, custody, and reconciliationBuild and maintain automated API/backend test suites using Java 21, Cucumber BDD, Rest-Assured, and Maven within CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)Validate integrations with third-party crypto custodians and infrastructure providers (Fireblocks, BitGo, Coinbase Prime, Circle) including key management, transaction signing, and webhook callbacksDevelop Kafka-based event validation frameworks to verify end-to-end message flows across microservices for trade execution, ledger updates, and compliance eventsPerform regulatory compliance testing covering AML/KYC transaction monitoring, Travel Rule, SAR filing triggers, and OFAC/sanctions screening for digital asset transactionsBuild and maintain environment-specific test configurations spanning Dev, UAT, and production-like environments on AWSContribute to Allure TestOps dashboards and reporting to provide real-time visibility into regression health and release readinessPartner with DevOps to integrate test execution into deployment pipelines and establish quality gates for release promotionParticipate in incident triage and root cause analysis for production issues, developing targeted regression tests to prevent recurrenceMentor junior QA engineers and drive adoption of testing best practices across the Digital Assets engineering groupYou Bring10+ years of experience in software quality assurance with at least 2 years focused on backend/API test automationStrong hands-on experience with Java (11+), Cucumber BDD, Rest-Assured, and MavenDemonstrated experience testing financial services or fintech platforms — order management, trade execution, ledger/accounting, or paymentsDirect experience integrating with or testing against crypto custodial platforms such as Fireblocks, BitGo, Coinbase Prime, or CircleWorking knowledge of cryptocurrency ecosystems: blockchain fundamentals, wallet infrastructure, custody models, and on-chain vs. off-chain settlementExperience testing event-driven architectures using Kafka or similar message brokersProficiency with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and containerized environments (Docker, AWS ECS/EKS)Strong understanding of RESTful API testing patterns, schema validation, and contract testingFamiliarity with compliance and regulatory frameworks relevant to digital assets (FinCEN, state money transmitter requirements, Travel Rule)Special Knowledge (Nice to Have, But Not Required)7+ years of experience in QA, with a focus on automation testingStrong understanding of trade lifecycle and post-trade reporting processesHands-on experience with Java/Python automation frameworks (e.g., RestAssured, PyTest, TestNG)Proficiency in SQL and experience validating large datasets in relational/non-relational databasesKnowledge of FIX protocol, trade enrichment, and reference data flowsExperience in regulatory reporting systems (CAT, SFTR, or equivalent)Exposure to data validation tools, message queues (Kafka/SQS), and reporting formats (XML, CSV, JSON)Experience integrating tests within CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsLocationThis role is open to candidates in the following locations: New York, NY - HybridThis role is expected to come into the office on a cadence set by the Hiring Manager/Team.If you're not based in one of the locations listed above, this role is not a fit, and we cannot accommodate remote work outside these locations.Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. DriveWealth does not sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.Pay Range: $180,000 – $200,000 USD
