GENERAL PURPOSE
The Corporate Recruiter will be responsible for driving the planning, development, execution, and continuous improvement of Ross Stores' Corporate Internship Program in partnership with the Sr. Director, Talent Acquisition. This individual will serve as the primary liaison for university recruiting initiatives, driving campus talent strategies that attract, engage, and convert top student talent into future Ross leaders. Responsibilities include managing the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for Corporate Internship and Early Career hiring, including sourcing, candidate assessment, offer management, onboarding and program management over the course of the summer.
This role will partner closely with business leaders, recruiters, HR, universities, and external organizations to build long-term strategic campus relationships and deliver a best-in-class candidate and intern experience. Talent acquisition responsibilities include developing and executing campus recruiting elements such as career fairs, information sessions, classroom presentations, networking events, and the step-by-step selection and evaluation process (e.g. screening, interviewing, assessment). Additionally, this role oversees the delivery of the summer internship program, serving as a key point of contact for interns, managers, and program stakeholders while coordinating professional development, networking, executive engagement, performance feedback, and intern conversion.
Overall, our ideal candidate will deliver leadership in program management, candidate engagement, recruiting operations, and employer branding initiatives, while leveraging data and market insights to evaluate program effectiveness and recommend enhancements that strengthen Ross Stores' early talent pipeline.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Support the execution and continuous improvement of Ross; University Recruiting strategy, building sustainable talent pipelines for internship and early career hiring across Corporate functions.
- Serve as the program liaison for the Corporate Analyst Internship Program, partnering with business leaders, interns, HR partners, and key stakeholders to deliver a best-in-class intern experience from recruitment through program completion.
- Drive campus recruiting strategies including university partnerships, career fairs, information sessions, student organization connections, professional association relationships, and other talent branding initiatives designed to attract top and diverse talent.
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for internship and early career positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, assessment, offer development, and onboarding.
- Build and maintain relationships with universities, faculty, career centers, student organizations, and external partners to strengthen Ross Stores' employer brand and expand access to top talent.
- Lead candidate engagement efforts throughout the recruiting lifecycle, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience and effective communication regarding opportunities, events, interviews, and program milestones.
- Design, coordinate, and execute key internship program initiatives, including orientation, professional development, networking, executive engagement, mentorship, performance feedback, and intern-to-full-time conversion.
- Track, analyze, and report recruiting and program metrics to evaluate effectiveness, identify trends, and recommend enhancements to strengthen attraction, selection, and retention outcomes.
- Maintain and leverage talent pipelines, applicant tracking systems, recruiting databases, and sourcing tools to support current and future hiring needs.
- Lead and participate in other projects, initiatives and activities in support of Talent Acquisition and broader organizational goals as deemed appropriate in conjunction with manager.

QUALIFICATIONS & SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED
- Minimum of 3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, prior experience in corporate recruiting preferred
- Experience with university recruiting and/or entry-level internship program management.
- Proficiency at an intermediate level in Windows Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication skills (both oral and written).
- Ability to set priorities and exercise independent judgment.
- Ability to work well under the pressure of deadlines.
- Ability to analyze data.
- Ability to work effectively with external partners, human resources, hiring managers, recruiters and candidates.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced atmosphere.
- Maintain confidentiality of all reports and salary information.
- Travel as needed – 10-20%
EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Human Resources, Business, Marketing, Communications or other related field.

This role requires regular in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration, client support, mentoring, coaching, and/or feedback
However, this role can perform duties effectively using a combination of in-office and remote work

The base pay range for this role $81,000.00 to $135,400.00. The base pay range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position and location.
