Insurance Defense Attorney

Baker Greenspan & Bernstein, Esqs., a well-established and ever-growing law firm seeks an insurance defense associate with 4+ years experience in negligence defense to join its Manhattan office. Our Manhattan office is located conveniently across the street from Grand Central. Role Description Responsibilities include handling all manner of insurance defense cases. Labor Law experience is a plus. You will be responsible for your own full case load, handling cases from inception, including reporting to adjusters, discovery, taking and defending depositions, attending court conferences and holding settlement negotiations. Trial experience is a plus. We offer real experience and opportunity for advancement within the firm. You will also have the opportunity to handle other matters such as commercial litigation, commercial real estate, trusts and estates, and/or condo/coop, if so desired. We are seeking an attorney who is organized and takes a proactive approach to handling their cases. Qualifications Active membership in the New York State Bar Ability to work on-site in New York, NY 4+ years experience handling all aspects of insurance defense litigation Labor law and trial experience are a plus Salary Range $110,000 - $160,000, based on experience.
