Endocrinologist Opening in Des Moines, Iowa H1B and J1 Sponsorship Details:

• Full-time, permanent
\n
• Established team of 2 physicians
\n
• Physician autonomy respected with flexibility and no call or weekend requirement
\n
• Ability to download all insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitors
\n
• One RN dedicated to each provider and one CMA float for the clinic with little turnover
\n
• Dedicated CDE for the clinic (in office) who meets with new Des Moines patients prior to their first appointment with the physicians. Additional diabetes educators within the health system.
\n
• Lab capabilities on site
\n
• Gestational diabetes managed by Perinatology
\n
• Strong referral base with plenty of new consultation requests daily
Responsibilities: \n
• Seeing around 15-17 patients (18+) per day
\n
• Opportunity to do inpatient work if interested, not required
\n
• Opportunity to work with residents and medical students if desired, not required
\n
• 24/7 hospitalist program is responsible for adult and pediatric inpatients
Qualifications: \n
• MD or DO
\n
• Board Eligible or Board Certified
\n
• Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa
\n
• Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physicians field of practice
