Territory Sales Manager
TERRITORY SALES MANAGER – SOLAR & ROOFING
Location: Southern California | Field-Based
Travel: Approximately 50–75%+
Experience: 5+ Years of Outside Sales
Industry: Rooftop Solar, Commercial Roofing & Building Products
Key Requirement: Rooftop Solar Sales Experience Required
POSITION OVERVIEW
Our client, a global leader in engineered rooftop attachment solutions, is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to drive growth throughout Southern California.
You’ll own the territory, develop contractor and distributor relationships, and expand adoption of solutions across the solar and commercial roofing markets .
WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Develop and execute a territory sales plan focused on profitable growth.
• Win new business and expand existing customer relationships.
• Build relationships with contractors, distributors, EPCs, installers, developers, architects, and engineers .
• Manage opportunities from initial engagement through purchase and installation.
• Provide product education, presentations, training, and jobsite support.
• Maintain an accurate pipeline, forecasts, and CRM activity.
• Monitor competitors, pricing, customer needs, and industry trends.
• Partner with Marketing, Engineering, Product, and Inside Sales teams.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
• 5+ years of successful outside sales experience.
• Rooftop solar sales experience required.
• Commercial roofing, metal roofing, or single-ply experience strongly preferred.
• Established relationships within the Southern California solar, roofing, construction, or distribution markets.
• Proven success developing new business and growing existing accounts.
• Strong presentation, negotiation, closing, and territory-management skills.
• Must reside in Southern California and travel approximately 50–75%+.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent industry experience.
