The incumbent of this position plays a crucial role in driving school and systemic improvement efforts, enhancing instructional quality, and ultimately improving student outcomes. By leveraging data, research, and evidence-based practices, the Special Education MTSS Instructional Specialist helps create an environment where educators, students, and district stakeholders can thrive. REPORTS TO: Special Education Director & Supervisor of Strategic Improvement & School Support EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND EXPERIENCE: At the time of application, the candidate must hold or be eligible for: At least 5 years of successful teaching A Master’s Degree in education or related Holds an Advanced Professional Experience with blended coaching models and techniques that align with adult learning theory KNOWLEDGE, ABILITITES, AND SKILLS: (These are pre-employment knowledge, abilities and skills that apply to the Essential Job Functions.)
