Investment Banking Associate

I'm currently partnering with a leading Investment Bank in New York that is looking to appoint an Associate to its market-leading Healthcare Services Investment Banking team. This is an outstanding opportunity to join one of the industry's most active Healthcare advisory platforms, advising leading healthcare services companies, private equity sponsors and strategic acquirers on a broad range of sell-side M&A, buy-side M&A and strategic advisory assignments. The team has an exceptional pipeline of live transactions and is looking to hire high‑calibre Associates at any level. Previous Healthcare experience is advantageous but not essential. The team is keen to speak with talented Investment Banking Associates from other sector teams who possess strong M&A execution experience and are looking to specialise in one of the busiest sectors in Investment Banking. Key Responsibilities Execute live M&A transactions across the Healthcare Services sector. Develop and maintain detailed financial models, including valuation, merger, accretion/dilution and LBO analyses. Prepare pitch books, confidential information memoranda (CIMs), management presentations and other client marketing materials. Conduct detailed financial, strategic and industry research to support live transactions and business development initiatives. Manage due diligence processes and coordinate with clients, legal counsel, accountants and other external advisers. Work closely with Managing Directors, Directors and Vice Presidents throughout the execution of transactions. Support client relationship management and contribute to new business origination efforts. Mentor Analysts and help oversee execution workstreams across multiple live assignments. Candidate Requirements Associate‑level Investment Banking experience (Associate 1, 2 or 3). Strong M&A execution experience gained within an Investment Banking platform. Previous Healthcare Services experience is welcomed but not required . Candidates from Industrials, Consumer, Technology, Business Services, FIG, Sponsors or Generalist M&A teams are strongly encouraged to apply. Excellent financial modelling and valuation capabilities. Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative and client‑focused environment.
