Standby Caregiver
A Place At Home - Somerville is dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate in-home care that allows our clients to age with dignity and comfort.
We are seeking a reliable and flexible Standby Caregiver to provide temporary coverage and support for clients throughout Morris County.
Responsibilities
- Cover shifts when regularly scheduled caregivers call out or are unavailable.
- Provide temporary care for new clients until a permanent caregiver is assigned.
- Fill open or short-term shifts based on agency needs.
- Provide compassionate care in accordance with client care plans and agency policies.
- Assist with office or administrative tasks when needed and qualified.
- Remain available for designated standby coverage.
Qualifications
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Flexible and willing to assist with changing staffing needs.
- Professional and compassionate.
- Able to communicate availability and schedule changes promptly.
- Willing to travel to different client locations.
