Accounting Manager

We're looking for an experienced Accounting Manager who is excited about modernizing finance operations, leveraging technology, and building efficient, scalable processes. Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll play a key role in strengthening our accounting operations while helping shape the future of our finance function. What You'll Do Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes Prepare accurate financial statements and management reporting Manage general ledger activity, reconciliations, and cash management Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll accounting processes Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities Improve internal controls and accounting procedures Identify and implement automation opportunities that increase efficiency and accuracy Leverage modern accounting systems, AI-enabled tools, and data analytics to streamline workflows Partner with leaders across the organization to provide actionable financial insights Support audit, tax, compliance, and ESOP-related reporting activities What We’re Looking For Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting Experience with Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOP) Experience managing month-end close processes Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities Experience using modern accounting and ERP systems Demonstrated success improving processes through technology and automation Strong communication and collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications CPA or CPA candidate Experience in professional services, consulting, research, advisory, or other knowledge-based businesses Experience with ESOP accounting and reporting Familiarity with business intelligence, workflow automation, and AI-powered finance tools Previous supervisory or team leadership experience Why You’ll Love This Role Become an owner through our ESOP Work directly with senior leadership and influence business decisions Lead meaningful technology and process improvement initiatives Enjoy opportunities for professional growth and advancement Competitive compensation and benefits package Success in This Role In your first year, you’ll help us improve reporting efficiency, strengthen financial controls, increase automation, and build scalable processes that support the company’s continued growth.
