Marketing and Event Specialist

SUMMARYThe Marketing and Event Specialist plays a crucial role in planning, coordinating, and executing marketing campaigns and events to promote and represent the organization. The role is responsible for overseeing events that enhance brand visibility, engage the target audience, and align events with the broader marketing goals. This role requires strong organizational and project management skills, creativity, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIESMarketingCollaborates with marketing team to identify target audiences and develop campaigns that engage, inform, and motivates clientsDevelops expertise on Arete’s capabilities, differentiation, and messaging to core audiencesCollaborates with the marketing team to create content for various communications channels.Coordinates with designers and other content creators to ensure deadlines are met and content is delivered on timeMeasures and analyzes marketing performance to evaluate the success of marketing campaignsResearches and analyzes market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to create effective marketing plansEventsCoordinates events, including conferences, trade shows, recruiting events, and corporate functionsDevelops event concepts, themes, and objectives in line with the company's marketing strategyExecutes against event timelines and work plans, ensuring all deadlines and deliverables are metAssists with venue selection, contract negotiations, and vendor managementCollaborates with internal teams to develop event agendas, content, and presentationsCoordinates event promotion through various channels, such as social media, email marketing, and advertisingCoordinates CLE (Continuing Legal Education) events for AreteMay perform other duties as assigned by managementSKILLS AND KNOWLEDGEStrong project management skills and the ability to multitaskProficiency in event management software and marketing toolsStrong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workUnderstanding of marketing and event best practicesExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesAttention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlinesFlexibility to adapt to changing event and marketing trends.JOB REQUIREMENTSAssociate's degree; Bachelor’s degree preferred2+ years of experience in events, marketing or related fieldDISCLAIMERThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
