Senior Interior DesignerArchitect

DBI’s long-time client in San Francisco is seeking a Senior interior designer with extensive experience. Focused on commercial interiors, you will work across clients of all types and scales in a growing and entrepreneurial studio. You will thrive and grow in this role through creative conception and ideation, as a strong, design-focused, and open team ready to collaborate. Bring your creative problem-solving through quality and contextual design and get started. Responsibilities Generate program documents through client-facing meetings. Create space plans Develop and execute contextual design stories and concepts. Collaborate with team members on furniture and finish selection and construction document production. Coordinate consultant and vendor drawings. Lead/coordinate construction administration of projects and review of submittals and finish samples. Manage client expectations and coordinate team and consultant communications. Generate business opportunity leads for the company. Manage various-sized teams. Knowledge of budget and schedule drivers, both internally and externally Participate in multiple project teams simultaneously Requirements 10+ years of related experience as an interior designer, with a focus on commercial interiors Must be proficient in Revit and InDesign Strong knowledge of the design and documentation process, including FF&E, furniture systems and specifications, color, and materials Outstanding graphic presentation skills Willingness to focus on multiple projects in various stages Ability to communicate design ideas and direction quickly Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and relationship management skills Working knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Photoshop Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field Knowledge of local code and permitting requirements Compensation $125,000 per year #J-18808-Ljbffr DBI/David Brown International
