Senior Sales Engineer

Location: Herndon, VA (Hybrid) (25–40% customer travel) Duration: Full Time

Job Description: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 7+ years in solutions engineering, solution architecture, technical consulting, or customer-facing enterprise architecture, including 3+ years in BFSI or insurance.
• Hands-on ability with APIs, JSON/XML, SQL, identity, data mapping, event or messaging patterns, and at least one language such as Python, TypeScript, Java, or C#.
• Understanding of multi-agent workflows, LLMs, retrieval, deterministic rules, evaluation, observability, human approval, and common failure modes such as hallucination and prompt injection.
• Experience integrating or designing around core banking, lending, claims, payments, fraud and AML, CRM, document, data, or workflow systems.
• Ability to turn ambiguous business processes into scoped architectures, demonstrations, testable acceptance criteria, and credible implementation plans.
• Working knowledge of cloud and self-hosted deployment, encryption, secrets, networking, access control, logging, and secure software delivery.
• Strong customer-facing communication across executives, operations leaders, architects, engineers, security teams, and risk or audit teams.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or equivalent practical experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Familiarity with BSA/AML, OFAC, GLBA, FFIEC guidance, PCI DSS 4.0.1, SOC 2 controls, model risk concepts, and audit evidence.
• Experience with REST, SOAP, SFTP, message queues, Kafka, data warehouses and lake houses, OCR and document AI, and decision engines.
• Experience building POCs with synthetic or masked financial data and measurable operational scorecards.
• Pre-sales experience with Agentic AI, RPA, fraud, risk, underwriting, claims, data, cloud, or modernization platforms.
