About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP, Securitized Products Market Risk Manager to join their Market Risk team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing oversight of trading desks across various spread products, including agency and non-agency securitized products, corporate credit, and municipal securities. This role involves close collaboration with front-office teams to ensure compliance with risk frameworks and limits, as well as the analysis and reporting of key risk metrics. The VP will also be involved in reviewing and approving trades, evaluating market conditions and trading behavior, and supporting cross-functional teams on new product implementation. Enhancing policies and methodologies to improve overall risk processes is a key aspect of the position. Applicants for this role should have a minimum of 4 years' of experience in Market Risk Management, with a focus on securitized products and credit trading. A strong understanding of risk metrics such as VaR, sensitivities, and stress testing results is essential. The ideal candidate will have hands-on exposure to a range of financial instruments, including MBS, RMBS, CMBS, IG, HY, EM Bonds, Lev Loans, and CDS/CDX. The role requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual with a strong quantitative and analytical skill set, capable of clearly communicating complex risk concepts. The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced trading environment and to solve problems independently is also necessary.
