About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President, Securitization Counsel to join its structured products legal team. The successful candidate will have a visible, business-facing role, aligned with trading and deal teams, and will be responsible for providing strategic, commercially focused legal advice on a variety of structured finance transactions, including securitizations, CLOs, and lending facilities. This role demands a true partner to the business, capable of driving transactions forward while effectively managing legal and regulatory risk. The individual will also be expected to advise on legal, regulatory, and reputational risks associated with business initiatives, and to contribute to strategic decision-making by delivering practical, business-oriented legal advice. Applicants must have a Juris Doctor degree, at least 7 years' of experience in structured finance and securitization, and a strong background in ABS and/or CLOs. Familiarity with lending facilities and structured credit arrangements is also required. The role is best suited to a candidate who can operate as a business-facing legal advisor in a fast-paced environment, and prior in-house experience within financial services is preferred. The Senior Vice President, Securitization Counsel will be a key player in the company's high-performing front-office business, with direct exposure to decision-makers and the opportunity to shape the legal aspects of deal execution.
