The Construction Supervisor will oversee ground-up projects primarily involving CMU, wood frame, and steel construction materials within the Tampa Bay area. This role requires strong organizational skills and field expertise to manage a medium team, ensure safety compliance, and maintain quality standards while supporting project schedules. The supervisor will report directly to the Project Manager and occasionally travel regionally as needed.
Responsibilities
- Supervise construction activities on-site, managing a team of 6-15 workers
- Ensure adherence to site safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Maintain quality control throughout all phases of construction
- Coordinate and manage project schedules to meet deadlines
- Collaborate with Project Manager and other stakeholders
- Monitor compliance with construction plans and specifications
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure standards are met
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction supervision
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- OSHA 30-hour certification
- Project management experience
- Knowledge of construction scheduling
- Strong safety compliance expertise
- Quality control proficiency
- Effective team leadership skills
- Excellent communication abilities
