As a Registered Nurse in the Stepdown unit, you'll play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care by utilizing your clinical skills and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

In this role, you will:

• Regularly assess patients' needs and provide skilled nursing services as prescribed by the physician's authorized plan of care.
• Deliver direct patient care, including medication administration, treatments, education, and responding to patient needs.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and collaborate with team members to update and improve patient care.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as facility-specific policies and procedures.
• Function as a team leader/member and resource to others, delegating and overseeing support staff.

Requirements:

• Need 2 years experience in setting
• Neuro PCU experience required
• Active Michigan RN License
• Active American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications
• Active NIHSS Certification
• Every other weekend/holiday availability
