Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical

Location

Flowood, MS | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM with alternating weekends | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit in an acute care setting
• Manage a patient assignment within a 6:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Document patient assessments, care plans, and outcomes accurately using Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver safe, effective patient care
• May be required to float to other units as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Mississippi
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
• Comfort working alternating weekend schedules
• Strong adaptability and ability to integrate quickly into new care environments
