Senior Electrical Engineer (Test)

DescriptionJob Summary: The Senior Electrical Engineer (Test) provides hands-on design in developing test equipment for all phases of electrical and electromechanical projects. This individual has a significant impact on product innovation, cost, schedule, and feature set. This individual will retain technical ownership of test equipment throughout the design, development, production, and support phases.Duties and Responsibilities:Work as part of project development teams to understand the products to be testedArchitect, design, prototype, verify and document complex test equipment for development, qualification, and production testing of RAVE productsSelect suppliers for COTS itemsDesign printed circuit boards such as development breakout boards and custom test equipment interfacesDesign cabling for connection to units under test and internal to equipmentIntegrate test equipment with Manufacturing SoftwareWork with the team on project schedules to ensure test equipment is available on timeInterface with regulatory testing agencies to secure approvals such as FCC and CEProvide support to factory in resolving production test issuesPerform other job-related duties as assignedRequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in a related field6+ years of experience working in similar roleWell versed in electromagnetic compatibility regulatory requirements and mitigation of problems found during testingProven track record in meeting project goals and objectivesExperience in the In-Flight Entertainment (IFE, IFEC) industry, avionics industry BenefitsThe starting pay range for this position is $112,500 to $127,000 per year however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location.In addition to a comprehensive package of health benefits that include company contributions, RAVE Aerospace offers a variety of additional benefits and perks to enhance your work-life balance experience including but not limited to:A home allowance to elevate your home workspaceDiscretionary bonus programFuture financial security with a 401(k) program with company match9/80 work schedule with a hybrid work environmentPaid time off covering vacations, personal time off and sick days, capped off by an exciting year-end holiday shutdownJob SummaryID: 93E4D7CB3FDepartment: EngineeringType: full time
